Roast turkey with vegetables

Ingredientes

  • 500 g turkey breasts
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 carrots
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 glass of water
  • 1/2 glass of white wine
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Preparation

  1. Chop the garlic and cut the rest of the vegetables into julienne strips except for the carrot, which should be cut into slices.
  2. Season the turkey breasts with salt and pepper and sear them in a frying pan with olive oil over a high heat.
  3. Sauté the onion and garlic and after 10 minutes add the peppers.
  4. Cook the carrot with the glass of water until soft. Strain and reserve the water for later.
  5. Mix the carrot with the rest of the vegetables.
  6. Place a layer of vegetables and the turkey breasts on top in an ovenproof dish. Place some more vegetables on top and pour in the carrot cooking water and ½ glass of white wine.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 15-18 minutes (check the doneness of the turkey).
