CLIMATE:

Quite humid and mild due to the influence of the Bay of Biscay which tempers the temperatures. Fairly abundant rainfall, with an average of 1,000 to 1,300 mm per year.

SOIL:

Mainly clayey, although slightly acidic on occasions, with a fairly high organic matter content.

GRAPE VARIETIES:

WHITE: hondarrabi zuri and folle blanche.

RED: hondarrabi beltza.
